July 6, 2006:  Sunny skies, mild temperatures and wheat ready to harvest in eastern Nebraska.


July 4, 2006:  Near the Hampton, NE I-80 Exit.  A brown water hungry looking median.

which surrounds these dying pine trees.  After 7 years of below normal precipitation in central
Nebraska some of the permanent vegetation (i.e. trees) are beginning to die off.
